Daily Inspirations: A German Healing Charm, A Decree, and Two Prayers

Friday's radio show topic on 7 June focused on Prayers and Healing with Tina Marie. Tina and I discussed the power of prayers and healing, how certain prayers are 'provided' in times of need, and the benefits of saying a prayer, mantra, decree, or charm out loud as opposed to saying it mentally. We shared a few favorites such as the Saint Francis of Assisi Prayer. It was a delightful show!

I wanted to list the sacred sayings here because I know that you will benefit from reciting the words on a spiritual, mental, a physical level. Each of the sacred sayings has a story to them. That is, during the show, I explained how I 'discovered' them and in one special case a crazy man told me to say The Serenity Prayer!

My goal is that you print this page/bookmark/screenshot these sacred sayings so that they will be  somewhere close to you for you to recite and share with others.

How to use the following sacred sayings: As Needed!! The more you recite the words, the stronger your emotions will become because you will feel the impact of the words!

Enjoy!

                              German Healing Charm
Out of the marrow into the bone
Out of the bone into the blood
Out of the blood into the flesh
Out of the flesh into the hair
Out of the hair into the green forest
Out of the green forest into the dry sand
As surely as the goddess made woman and man

                           The Violet Flame Decree
I AM the violet flame
in action in me now
I AM the violet flame
to Light alone I bow
I AM the violet flame
in mighty cosmic power
I AM the light of God
shinning every hour
I AM the violet flame
blazing like a sun
I AM God's sacred power
freeing everyone

                             The Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the serenity to accept
                            the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference

                       Saint Francis of Assisi Prayer
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
                      Where there is injury, pardon.
                      Where there is doubt, faith.
                      Where there is despair, hope.
                      Where there is darkness, light.
                      Where there is sadness, joy.

                      O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
                      to be consoled, as to console;
                      to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
                      Amen.
